Route Overview
Start your adventure in downtown Vancouver and travel along the iconic Sea-to-Sky Highway. This round-trip route features breathtaking viewpoints, waterfalls, coastal stops, and optional attractions - all carefully curated for a perfect one-day escape.
From City Icons to Mountain Views
Your journey begins in the heart of Vancouver at the powerful Angel of Victory monument (close to Waterfront Station) - a tribute to courage and history. From there, we cross the stunning Lions Gate Bridge, offering sweeping views of the city skyline and Burrard Inlet.
As we leave the city behind, the Sea-to-Sky Highway begins to unfold. Our first scenic stop is the Cypress Lookout, where you’ll take in panoramic views of Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean, and even distant islands on a clear day.
Continuing past TransCanada Highway, you’ll feel the shift — from urban energy to the peaceful rhythm of the mountains and forest.
As we leave the city behind, the Sea-to-Sky Highway begins to unfold. Our first scenic stop is the Cypress Lookout, where you’ll take in panoramic views of Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean, and even distant islands on a clear day.
Continuing past TransCanada Highway, you’ll feel the shift — from urban energy to the peaceful rhythm of the mountains and forest.
Coastal Vistas & Hidden Treasures
As the highway winds along the coast, we stop at the Porteau Cove Road Lookout - a peaceful spot where ocean meets mountains, perfect for photos and fresh sea air. Next up is the Copper Dr. View, a lesser-known gem with sweeping views over Howe Sound and rugged forested slopes.
Our journey then takes a historical turn at the Britannia Mine Museum, where you’ll get a glimpse into British Columbia’s rich mining past set against a dramatic coastal backdrop. A visit to the museum is optional.
Finally, we arrive at one of the area’s natural highlights - the breathtaking Shannon Falls.

Back on the road, we’ll stop at several viewpoints, where the Sea-to-Sky corridor reveals some of its most iconic vistas. Then it’s on to the Britannia Beach Scenic Lookout, offering a peaceful panorama over the turquoise waters and charming coastal village below.
Afterward, it’s time to recharge with a relaxing lunch at Canadian-style restaurant, a beloved local spot nestled by the river, serving hearty meals with stunning mountain views.

Crossing back over the Lions Gate Bridge, we return to Vancouver just in time to see the city glow. The trip ends on a charming note at the Gastown Steam Clock, where history, culture, and a little bit of steam mark the perfect close to an unforgettable day.
